Heidi Walter

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor.  I have lived in Wyoming for 26 years and worked in a wide variety of jobs while working on my bachelor’s and master’s degrees.  I started working at Pioneer Counseling in December 2020 after obtaining my master’s degree in professional counseling from Grand Canyon University.  I have almost 4 years of experience in the counseling field.

I am certified in the Wyoming Adult Impaired Driving Curriculum (DUI Class), First Aid/CPR, Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) for youth and adults, Change Journals for IOP program, substance abuse assessments (ASAM), Anger Management Assessments.  I have successfully served a range of clients, including mental health and substance abuse.

I offer a wide variety of programs and services, from substance abuse and anger management assessments, to substance abuse and mental health groups, individual therapy, couple’s therapy and family therapy.
