Janika Long

Case Manager

I am a clinical therapist licensed in Wyoming as a PCSW as well as a Peer Specialist. I have lived in Evanston for over ten years and have been working in the mental health field and for Pioneer Counseling Services for the past three years. I graduated with a master’s in social work from Louisiana State University in 2023 and have received my bachelor’s in social work from Liberty University. I have worked in the past as a Peer Specialist and as a Case Manager. I have always been drawn to helping people and working in the mental health field is a dream come true.

I specialize in DBT (Dialectical Behavioral) therapy and have been trained to facilitate IOP programs with the Change Company journals, to facilitate MRT (Moral Reconation Therapy) groups, and WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) groups. I am qualified to complete substance abuse assessments (ASAM), mental health evaluations, and ASI’s (Addiction Severity Index). I have had First Aid/CPR training, mental health first aid training, and ASSIST training. I work with a wide range of clients. My services include working with individuals, teens, families, couples, and facilitating groups. I enjoy my job, and I look forward to working with you.
